An 8 Week Series with Ashley Apple

Introducing the basic concepts
of Tantra Hatha Yoga.

Tantra yoga focuses on cultivating energy, creating awareness of the chakras and the subtle energy channels, purifying the body/mind and learning the art of sublimation, the rising of energy along the spine for shifting consciousness. These practices are specific Tantra yoga exercises that support an awakening or rising of Kundalini Shakti, the primal life force.

As Kundalini rises through the chakras, consciousness shifts and the practitioner can experience bliss, contentment and a feeling of oneness.

The series will include:

  • Exposure to Tantric principles
  • Initiations in the yogic techniques used in daily practice
  • Warm ups and vinyasa sun salutation flows
  • Longer holdings of postures for developing the chakras
  • Pranayama, breathing exercises
  • Mantra meditations to help focus the mind and intensify the affects of focused energy
  • A long yoga nidra sivasana helps integrate the newly cultivated energy and shifts in consciousness

This foundation course helps the yogi to cultivate all aspects of energy in the daily life. Developing concentration of the mind helps the practitioner to control their emotional, mental and sexual energy. Where the mind goes energy follows…
